Dr. Sherif Shaban

  • Master degree in Egyptology- Cairo University in 2008
  • PhD in the history of ancient Egyptian History of arts- Cairo University 2013.
  • gave many public and specialized lectures in a number of cultural forums such as the Beit Al Sennary- Bibliotheca Alexandrina , Cairo Opera House and “ElSawy Wheel” Cultural center.
  • Wrote many articles about Antiquities and History of Arts in several Local and international magazines like bulletin of the Egyptian Museum-Egypt and Kirala University magazine- India.
  • Wrote books about Antiquities such as: (Ceilings  and Its scence throughout Ages: Intruduction by Zahi Hawass 2011), (Banquets in Ancient Egypt, Greece and Etruscans: 2016) (Myths of the Pharahos 2020).
  • Lecturer for Art History at the Faculty of Archeology, Cairo University since 2014.
  • Specialist at publishing at the Information Center and responsible of cultural activity and archaeological awareness at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

I have a goal to visit every single museum and archaeological site in Egypt, a goal which I think is in its way of being fulfilled after having visited numerous museums and archaeological sites in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Al Menya, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, and Aswan.
